Titan GOYA acrylic paint range is based on 100% acrylic resin and high quality pure pigments. This provides solid, vivid colours.
Generally speaking, acrylic paint is most often used for paintings on linen, cotton or other types of canvases. It can also be applied on a wide variety of porous surfaces (such as wood and cardboard) or any grease-free surface that has been suitably primed beforehand.
Being water-soluble, acrylic paint is easy to use (paint can be thinned down with water alone). clean up is very easy too (water is sufficient to rinse brushes, palettes etc).
With the wide range of colours available in the Titan GOYA series, their ease of use and suitability for any primed surface, this paint can be ideal for any project – from fine art painting, through modelling, to DIY applications.

About the manufacturer
Almost a century ago, in Barcelona,1917, TITAN was founded in a small laboratory on Carrer del Pi. The initial research, ideas and production that today define Titanlux began within these premises. However, this space soon became too small and consequently, Titanlux relocated to Poblenou, the heart of industry in Barcelona.
Joaquín Folch Girona was widely recognised as an expert in plumb mining. He has been the person who was to change the history of Industrias TITAN. As a result of his work, the name Titanlux became synonymous with excellent quality and service. The foundation of the company was therefore built on research, development and innovation. Innovative success resulted in new and improved products emerging to replace the old ones. However, the most remarkable goal was the creation in 1934 of the first synthetic enamel fully manufactured in Spain: TITANLUX. Its quality was so extraordinary and exceeding its competitors in quality, that the name TITANLUX was used in Spain as a generic word to refer to any paint.
That philosophy of dynamic research and innovation helped TITAN to emerge from both WW2 and the Spanish civil war even stronger. During those difficult times another unique range was created: TITAN Oil Colours. The quality was so good that famous artists in Paris exchanged two tubes of their best french oil colour to one Titan tube.
1955 was another historic year for Industrias TITAN. A new and modern factory was put into operation that changed the whole process of paint manufacturing. In no time at all, TITAN was recognised as the undisputed leader on the Spanish market for paint. The products reached all spheres of life, from making paint an easy DIY activity, to providing material for the top professionals. Titan provided colour to famous artists such as Joan Miro who performed at the Catalan Architects association.
Its rapid growth soon demanded a larger space and TITAN moved to el Prat de Llobregat, a few kilometres far away from Barcelona, where the corporate headquarters are presently located. Here, TITAN took steps to focus on growth and development of its production capacity. In el Prat de Llobregat some of its most important products have been created: the easy-to-apply SINGLE-COAT TITAN (TITAN UNA CAPA) or the multi-surface enamel TITAN UNILAK. A few years before finishing the XX century, TITAN put into operation the most modern factory in Europe for water-based paints and started the XXI century with the capacity of offering the widest choice of products and the best quality on the market.
